PRIVATE SECTOR IN VENEZUELA

The president Hugo Chávez, reiterated this Sunday that the businessmen private and small producers are welcome to participate in the construction of the Venezuelan socialism.

Chávez called to all the Venezuelans, and particularly to these sectors, to be despoiled of the groundless fears around that the National Government intend to disrespect the private property.

In such sense, recalled that that right is consecrated in the Bolivarian Constitution approved in 1999.

"In Venezuela we are building an own model: a model of mixed economy. We do not deny the private property, only that this should be each time more in function of the welfare", emphasized.

It explained, likewise, that also the social property exists, constituted by those strategic resources, like the petroleum, the energy and the agriculture, that cannot be privatized, but they should be administered for the State.

Finally, it indicated that the socialist model of Venezuela is original and cannot be compared with any similar experience, not even the Cuban, because each territory, each time and each town have their particularities that do them very different.

A study carried out by the consulting business Cimagroup, published by the Colombian newspaper The Time, revealed that Venezuela is the happier country of South America, with a percentage of happiness of 83%. The business of marketing carried out the study in Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Equator, Peru and Venezuela, and the same one threw as conclusions that the countries that are at north of the subcontinent are happier than the ones that are found at south. Likewise, the decision was obtained that the happiness does not necessarily have relation with the wealth or the economic development of a nation, al to observe that Chile, richer country than Bolivia, has similar degree of happiness.

DIGITEL GSM with 1.5 million of new customers in 4 months

The mobile phone company DIGITEL GSM:. increase it's list of new customers in 1.5 millions in only 4 months after the announcement of fusion with DIGICEL (eastern) and INFONET (western), these two companies added only 100,000 customers. New lines, new phones, what a communism!

See?... The Privates enterprises are not OPERATING in Venezuela (yeah, right... lol). The Government is not spending the money in civil structures... :)

Travel Around the World ,Communist odyssey...

The authorities of the International Airport of Maiquetía (IAM) reckon that this weekend will be mobilized 85 ,759 passengers through the terminals, so much in national as international flights.

The information was supplied through a bulletin of press by the general director of the airport, Mario Fernández Echandía.

The international terminal, a demand of 47 thousand 922 passengers is calculated, of which 28 thousand 402 will arrive to the country and 19 thousand 525 will leave toward different countries abroad.

According to this, an increment of 10% in the demand of travelers in relation to the same period of 2006 is estimateed, when was registered a movement of 77,963 passengers.

"Since the begin of the Christmas season December 15th , last year, to January 11th, 629,345 passengers in both terminals have been mobilized.
